    We went here after a Vegas AAU basketball trip with a large party of parents and kids. They accompanied everyone and food was good.

    I was craving some local grinds so did a quick search for Hawaiian food near me. I saw that Island Sushi and Grill was nearby, and a friend had also recommended it, so we gave it a shot. I did a pick up order online and ordering was so easy. They had so many amazing options that it took me so long to decide. I opted for the bento... garlic ahi with a choice of chicken...and I got the garlic chicken. I also opted for half noodles and half rice, which was the perfect choice. My son got the BBQ mixed plate and before I could take a photo he was already digging in. He said it tasted amazing. My bento was so delicious. So flavorful and everything in the bento complimented each other. I also ordered a side California roll sushi that came with ginger, wasabi, and soy sauce. Yummy!!! For dessert I got the guava custard filled malasada's ...and OMG... that was one of the best things I have ever tasted!!! Everything was so delicious and pickup was quick and seamless. We'll definitely be back!

    Whenever we're craving Hawaiian food, this is the place we go to. Service is great, vibes are nice, and most importantly the food is always amazing! The menu offers a very wide selection of dishes, ranging from sushi to grilled plates. The sashimi here is thickly cut and fresh. They offer a half off section for rolls, where I recommend the "Hawaiian". I also love how they have daily deals- we got our poke on special today :-) Try this spot!!!

    Island Sushi is our go-to spot for island comfort food, and I've never been disappointed with anything I've ordered. The fruit punch reminds me of my childhood on O'ahu. They offer half-off sushi roll specials, with a smaller selection than before, but the rolls they still have are some of our favorites. Make sure to check out the daily specials--they're usually my go to selection. Once, I had the meat jun, and it was probably the best I've had in Vegas since many restaurants are nowhere close to our favorite Korean BBQ spots on O'ahu. Yesterday, they featured Pulehu ribeye steak topped with mushrooms and onions, and it was perfection. The garlic chicken is also one of our favorites. The service is always excellent, with prompt refills and attentive staff. Don't leave without trying their tempura coffee cake. I love coffee cake, especially the kind that reminds me of school cafeteria lunches in Hawai'i. Served tempura-style and topped with ice cream and syrup, it's the ultimate dessert
